I’m Becky Lanning, as you can guess by my website name, and I write children’s picture books. (Another obvious clue.)

I’ve been a child, a mom, a teacher, a wife, a clown mime (Yes, you read that right.), a grand mom, a friend, and, most recently, a children’s book author.

I’ve worked with children all my adult life and enjoy learning what makes them tick: whether it’s a giggle, smile, tear, or frown. That cinched my decision to write picture books.
